Courses should be selected with the consent of the student’s Geography faculty advisor.
A student completing an Urban Geography and Planning minor is eligible to simultaneously complete a GIS Certificate. Only 2 courses (GEO 241, and either GEO 242 or GEO 243) from the Urban Geography and Planning Minor can also be applied to the undergraduate GIS Certificate. A student wishing to complete an Urban Geography and Planning minor and an undergraduate GIS Certificate will complete a minimum of 8 Geography courses.
