Part-time Positions
From time to time, the Department of Modern Languages seeks to hire
part-time instructors in any of the languages that it teaches: American Sign Language, Arabic,
Chinese, French, German, Classical Greek, Italian, Japanese, Latin,
Russian and Spanish. Applicants interested in consideration for future
positions should apply through Interfolio. For
part-time positions, the department prefers candidates with a MA or
PhD degree and evidence of successful teaching at the undergraduate
level. We particularly seek candidates who mirror the diversity of the
university and its surrounding urban community, and we specifically
solicit applications from women, people of color and individuals from
other historically under-represented groups.
