Annual Sociology Undergraduate Scholarship

The Department of Sociology offers a limited number of scholarships each year to juniors and seniors majoring in sociology who demonstrate academic excellence. 

To be Eligible You Must:
1.  Be a sociology major
2.  Be a junior or senior who will be enrolled in Spring Quarter, 2016
3.  Have a 3.75 or higher cumulative GPA
4.  Demonstrate academic excellence

Required Application Materials:
A.  Cover page 
B.  Personal essay (2 pages maximum) 
C.  Unofficial DePaul University transcript
D.  One (1) letter of recommendation from an instructor in the Department of Sociology with whom you have taken a course

How to Apply:
Eligible students must submit an application via Academic Works.  This site allows students to apply to a wide variety of LAS scholarships.  The Sociology Endowed Scholarship application deadline has passed for the 2014-2015 academic year.  Check back in January 2016 for information regarding the 2015-2016 scholarship application process.
