Faculty Grants & Fellowships

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences supports faculty research through the Faculty Summer Research Grant (FSRG) and the Undergraduate Research Assistantship Program (URAP).

Proposals for a Summer Research Grant are generally due in early October of the year preceding the grant period. URAP has two funding cycles: proposals for Summer and Autumn assistantships are due in March; proposals for Winter and Spring assistantships are due in October. Please view our Internal Grant Programs for the specific deadlines.

External funding opportunities

The Office of Research Services compiles a select listing of upcoming external funding opportunities that may be of interest to LAS faculty. Full details of each initiative are available on the sponsoring agency's website.
