Faculty Summer Research Program (FSRG)

The Faculty Summer Research Grant (FSRG) provides salary stipends and funding for additional expenses to tenure-track and tenured full-time faculty for projects undertaken in the summer. The window for FSRG applications is closed at this time. It will reopen for applications for Summer, 2021 support in late summer of 2020.

The Faculty Summer Research Grant (FSRG) program is a highly competitive program administered by the LAS Research Committee. It invites faculty to apply for summer funding for their ongoing research projects. Each year, the committee receives a number of applications from tenure-line faculty early in Autumn Quarter for the following summer. Faculty are expected to send in a brief report of their research accomplishments at the end of summer. Previous FSRG recipients are identified here.
