Council Grant Programs & AGIF Funding

This workshop will provide an overview of the University Research Council, Quality Instruction Council, Public Service Council, and Academic Growth & Innovation Fund internal grant programs. Representative of Council members and past award recipients will provide recommendations to submit a funded proposal.

Proposal Budgeting 101

Considering a budget should be the first step in determining if an RFP is the right fit for your project. This workshop will provide an overview of the various considerations that factor into developing a grant budget and provide recommendation on how to put together your budget.

Grant Journal Entries: How and Why?

Grant Journal Entries are retroactive transfers of non-salary related expenses between grants or between a grant and a cost center. When these types of transfers are needed, the first step is to fill out a Grant Journal Entry form in Service Now. In this workshop, we will walk you through how to fill out this form, discuss the circumstances that may necessitate a Grant Journal Entry, and allow you to ask any questions related to grant related cost transfers.
