Welcome to the Department of International Studies, home to an undergraduate program, a graduate program, and a five year BA/MA program. International Studies is an ever-evolving field which seeks to understand and address international issues in a way which integrates political, social, economic, and cultural methods of analysis.
Our students develop excellent research, writing, and critical thinking skills which prepare them for a wide range of career paths in the public, private and non-profit sectors including the foreign service, humanitarian relief and international development, public policy, international business, social services, journalism, and law. See our alumni spotlight for more information about our students!
