Employment Opportunities

map

Knowing another language enriches your personal life, expands the range of professional opportunities open to you, and increases your power to act as a citizen of the world (Modern Language Association). The Department of Modern Languages is pleased to contribute to student enrichment by offering courses in American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Greek (Ancient), Latin, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish, in accordance with the University's Learning Outcomes and Goal #4: Intercultural & Global Understanding.

In order to make the most of an undergraduate experience, students are recommended to participate in Career Center workshops and other co-curricular experiences through the Division of Student Affairs, discuss their career interests with a career specialist in the Career Center, and explore career options before junior year.  One of the ways in which students may explore career options would be to review job descriptions.  Many recruitment companies post job opportunities online. Students may better educate themselves on prospective employment opportunities by visiting recruitment websites such as the ones listed below.
