Al Stonitsch - Assistant Village Manager, Village of Glen Ellyn

Al
Al currently serves as the Assistant Village Manager with the Village of Glen Ellyn where he is responsible for overseeing the Village’s human resources functions, as well as oversight of the Facilities Maintenance, Information Technology, Communications, and Senior Services Divisions. Prior to coming to Glen Ellyn in 2013, Al was employed with the Village of Glenview, where he served in a variety of leadership capacities during his 11+ year tenure, including Human Resources Director, Deputy Director of Public Works, Assistant to the Village Manager, and Administrative Intern.  Al obtained his B.A. in History from Marquette University, and his M.S. in Public Service Management (Class of ‘04) from DePaul University.  In addition to IPELRA, Al is also a member of SHRM, IPMA-HR, and the International (Illinois) City/County Managers Association​ (ICMA/ILCMA).
