Jamie S. Nolan

Jamie Nolan has been working ;as an adjunct instructor in the School of Public Service since 2000 and has taught MPS 500 and MPS 522. She enjoys teaching MPS 500 Introduction to Public Service Management because it gives the student a good insight to what managers may encounter in this role. Nolan believes Human Resource Management is a fun class because it teaches current and future managers about the rules and laws governing the organization and employees of the company.
 
Nolan earned her undergraduate degree for the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. She completed her Master’s in Business Administration at Keller Graduate School of Management with a focus in Marketing and Human Resource Management.
 
She also teaches business courses at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois, which include Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Business, Principles of Management, Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. Nolan enjoys guiding students through the material and stresses the importance of becoming a lifelong learner.
