We are pleased to host an evening event for Strong Towns Chicago, Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) Chicago, Abundant Housing Illinois (AHIL), and the Parking Reform Network, featuring energizing, small-group discussions that will rotate around a variety of housing topics. Municipal Design Review Network Summer Tour
Join us for our Municipal Design Network’s much-anticipated Walking Tour. Our host, the City of Naperville, will offer us valuable insights into the strategies that have made it a recognized leader in pedestrian- and river-oriented downtown development. The tour is 10:15 am - noon, with an optional lunch gathering afterwards.  For more details and the registration link, click here. This is a free event.

School of Public Service Fall Reception
Kick off the academic year by joining the Chaddick group attending the School of Public Service's fall reception on the DePaul Center rooftop terrace on the 11th Floor at 1 E. Jackson Blvd. This is a free event open to all. Brief remarks from the SPS team around 6:30 pm. To register, click here.

Study Trip to Milwaukee, WI
Join us for our 8th annual trip to this prominent neighbor to our north for a day of learning, conversation, and exploration. The cost is $25, inclusive of Amtrak fare and dinner. Meet at Union Station at 12:45 pm for our 1:05 pm departure and return back at 9 pm. Open to students and recent alums (Alums, please email us about attendance options). Forgotten Chicago
Inauguration of South Shore Line's West Lake "Monon" Corridor​
Join our Transportation Research Forum - Chicago Chapter to see the South Shore Line's new commuter rail line between Hammond and Dyer, IN.  We'll travel on the inaugural day of service, with a mid-afternoon departure from Chicago's Van Buren Station. We'll have a Q&A with an expert and a site visit to the new Dyer and Hammond stations. Email chaddick@depaul.edu to be put on the interest list. ​
