Interdisciplinary conference spotlights work of SPS, others

The Third Annual LAS Interdisciplinary Graduate Student Conference took place in early March and showcased the work of graduate students across departments and programs of DePaul’s College of Liberal Arts and SocialSciences, including the School of Public Service. 

SPS students presented on the topic of “Human Interaction & Resources” — Cheryl Yung on “Supervolunteers,” Mary Castro on “Volunteers with Disabilities” and Ericka Lynk on “Tapping into New Revenue Streams for Nonprofit Organizations: Accessing African American Donors in the Generational Cohort born from 1966-1975.” 

The conference also featured a first time telecommute presentation. Monique Joseph presented by video conference on "Working Mothers: The Impact of Mommy Guilt on Family, Career and the Workplace".
